Why it's different

Light enough to carry. Big enough to share.

At just 9.2 oz, the Backpacker includes a real 1.2 L pot that is large enough to cook meals for two or even three people without weighing down your pack.

Room to cook a real meal.

A 1.2 L pot holds about 5 cups, enough for one-pot pasta, soup, or oatmeal for two or three people, not just boiling water.

Everything you need, right out of the box.

The included strainer lid, pot supports, bowl, and microfiber cleaning towel make it easy to boil, cook, strain, and clean without buying extra accessories.

Packs into one compact kit.

The burner, pot supports, towel, and a 230 g fuel canister nest inside the pot for easy packing.

Our story

Built by an engineer. Inspired by the trail.

Founder John Peretti spent years engineering award-winning integrated backpacking stove systems before starting Coastal Range Equipment. Along the way, he listened to backpackers, hunters, paddlers, pilots, guides, Scout leaders, and outdoor retailers who wanted gear that was lighter, more versatile, and built to last.

His philosophy is simple: every ounce should earn its place. The result is thoughtfully engineered outdoor gear that removes unnecessary weight without sacrificing the durability, versatility, or performance people depend on wherever adventure takes them.

FAQ & buyer's guide

The Coastal Range Backpacker is a 9.2 oz integrated camping stove with a 1.2 L pot that boils 0.5 L in about 2.5 minutes and feeds 2–3 people. Pot, bowl, and supports are included. It works with any pan.

How much does it weigh?
9.2 oz (260 g) complete system: burner, 1.2 L pot, pot supports, bowl, and strainer lid. A microfiber cleaning towel is included but not counted in the published weight. Fuel sold separately.
What fuel does it use, and what packs inside?
Any standard EN417 Lindal-valve screw-on isobutane-propane canister. A 100 g or a full 230 g canister nests inside the pot with the burner and supports, so the whole system travels as one compact unit.
What comes in the box?
Everything you need: a 1.2 L pot, the burner, a bowl, a strainer lid, click-in pot supports, and a microfiber cleaning towel. Just add a fuel canister.
What's your warranty?
Every Coastal Range Backpacker is backed by our 3-Year Limited Warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.
What's your return policy?
Every order is backed by our 30-Day Satisfaction Guarantee. If it's not right for you, request a return within 30 days. Just email info@thecoastrange.com to start. See our return policy for full details.
